Does the zt-2 get mounted inside the car, like should I try and get it as close to under the steering wheel as possible or something like that, or should I try and make it's way forward like under the hood next to the zchip or somewhere around there?

The Zt-2 mounts inside the car cabin.

Cool, thanks. Now does the sensor get placed in the stock sensor location now or further down the cat (the AMS high flow cat has two locations with spacers on them already) on the second location? and how likely is it that I damaged the sensor if I DID drive with it in place (I didn't read the warning on the install page until after I put it on and drove with it for a little bit) with no power yet!? I suck so bad. Thanks guys for the info.

I have plug my laptop directly to my Zeitronix wideband to get some data reading and everything is fine except the RPM are not reading the same as the car... They start around 46 000 and rise up to 150 000 rpm with the software provided (Zeitronix Data reader)... tried a couple of pull in 4th gear from 2500 to 7500rpm in the car.

Anyone can tell me whats wrong??? I have try to change the engine cynlinders value but no luck!!!.

Thanks

Combination of noisy RPM signal and noisy ground. Ground the Zt-2 black wire again. Do not use chassis screws or cigarette lighter plug.
Where are you grounding the Zt-2 now?
Where are you taking RPM signal from? Are you sure that connection is solid?

Hi I'm Mac, and I'm PC.
Mac: PC you pretty much suck all cuddies off the net when downloading torrent movies you crush and burn.
PC: Well, but one can get a $50 PC to use as a logger and you pretty Mac can stay at a cozy bedroom. When I fly off the passenger seat and brake into little pieces nobody will cry nor remember me.

lmao. While totally hilarious it still doesn't solve my problem, but I see what you're saying. I may look into one of those super small micro PC laptops then. I guess it would be too much to ask you guys to re-write your tuning software to fit my needs! :( haha Thanks guy, and thanks for a great (PC friendly only) product!!!!

You are not the only one. We get this request every couple months. I still think a super cheap laptop should be used for logging. We intentionally write the software to run on pretty much anything, even a P1 with Win95. Please leave your beautiful MAC at home.
Super small 8" pc is what I use for logging. No HD no moving parts.
