Well I got my Chip, MBC and Prosport guage. Thanks everybody at TTP!

The chip and the MBC installation are covered here pretty well.. My question is on the gauge. The wires supplied with the gauge are pretty short, did you folks find that putting the boost sensor next to the fuse box works out ok so the wires will reach? Or is there better places to splice the guage and sensor wires in than the fuse box.

Second, where exactly did you folks plumb in the vacume/boost source T-fitting that comes with the gauge? The instructions show it between the surge tank and the fuel regulator.. I hope I can find those parts..

Or is there a better place to splice in for the t-fitting?

Can you tell new car mechanicals are not my thing? LOL

I would suggest tapping the boost pressure source from the BOV line. Do not tap it into the boost line to the stock BCS.

Hey if you guys have a pic of either of these parts, that would help me a lot.. It all looks the same under there to me..

I'm all wired and ready to go except for my hose connection..

This is certainly not a 60's car...

If you look at the throttle body, a few inches behind it, a grey vac line comes out and goes to a steel hardline, then to another grey vac line, then the blow off valve. I just cut the line closest to the intake manifold in half and shoved the tee in there.

Super.. I drilled through my main wiring harness putting a hole through the firewall for the gauge hose.. Measured twice before I drilled, then moved to exactly the right spot to hit the harness..

I'm thinking the car is done for the rest of the year.. I doubt the harness is an easily replaced part..

Everything else was installed and ready to go, but it's off again so I don't have to explain it all to the dealer when the car is towed there..

Have a nice Christmas everybody..:banghead:
