I wanted to get my ZT-2 installed before I put in my Z-chip, so I could measure baseline numbers.

I completed the install in my garage today and took it for a test drive.

The boost gauge function appears to be working correctly. I thought it might be reading low since at times under a moderate amount of throttle when I could hear the turbo spool, it would only show a couple of pounds of boost. I would have guessed those situations had more like ten pounds or so, but I guess I am wrong since a pull from low rpm in fourth gear spiked up to 22 pounds or so, which sounds correct.

The issue is with the Wideband AFR reading. The gauge lights up, but it stays on 21.0 and doesn't budge from there.

Scott, any idea what the issue could be? Of course the wires were fully encased in the loom that you sent, and I carefully routed through the fender to the cabin, so I don't think the wires could have been damaged.

Crap! I really wanted to get my Z-chip installed today, but I think I should wait until this issue is resolved. PLEASE HELP!

So hearing the turbo spool gives you better boost "feeling" than instrumentation?

AFR 21.
1 O2 sensor exposed to air (exhaust leak)
2 A missing connection between the Zt-2 and the O2 sensor - O2 harness connections . Make sure both end clicked. Make sure the RJ45 style plug wasn't damaged during installation etc.
3 A bad O2 sensor.

If this was a brand new Zt-2 kit, it all works since we tested it all 3 times before shipping. So chase connection gremlins.

Okay. All wiring tested fine. Determined that the issue is with the O2 sensor.

Can you guys send me another one out tomorrow? I'll try to reach you guys from work when I get a break in the am.
