View Full Version : Wheel Spin = No ASC Light

I dont know if this will help with conditions for when the light goes on but i had wheelspin tonight and i did see the screen flash that it was correcting me but i did not get an ASC Light or Alarm!

Normal Operation with the Z-Chip installed during that type of condition. The ASC did not send a reduction of torque request for wheel spin.

It may have.. Remember, everything will function perfectly until the ASC OFF+SVC REQ'D lamps pop on. So if you didn't trigger the warning, the system was ok during that event.

My ASC light hasn't been popping on as frequently but, coincidentally, I hit a big puddle cornering hard yesterday and lit up the front tyres and the service ASC light popped on immediately. I wish somebody (hello TTP & Zeitronix) would get to the bottom of this. I know the system is touchy but I never had a light before the Z-Chip.

TTP has stated they are gathering data, but this process will take some time. I am also working toward a resolve, I will be in touch with Mitsu on Monday concerning not only this issue, but my busted tcase/trans as well. :rolleyes:
