Hello ,

I purchased a Z chip without the MBC . A month later I purchased a MBC and I am now running 20 psi on my X. My question is Will I need to change My Z -Chip map now that I am running a MBC? If so How do I this ? Will I need to send my Z - Chip back to TTP so I can have the MBC Z-Chip map or I'm just fine running my car with the current Non MBC map?:noidea:

Thanks

i think the stock map is good for 21 psi im not to sure anything higher you would need to tune.

Actually just about each and every ZCHIP base map is semi customized and unique to the individual buyer based on their information provided.

If your modifications have changed, please contact us at 407-475-0010 so that we may get the info about what has changed in your setup so that we can send you and updated map. The software can be downloaded from this site so that you can load the map to your own zchip without removing or mailing it.

Thanks TTP,

I removed the MBC for now. My modz are

K&N Intake
Test Pipe
Catback
HKS bov

Thats it. I noticed with the stock EBC , 1st and 2nd gear max PSI is 15 lbs. and 3rd 4 5 gears max psi is 20 psi and stays at 20 psi tru out the powerband.

With the MBC 1st 2nd 3 4 5th Gear Psi stays at 20psi tru out the powerband but does not feel as fast as useing the stock EBC :noidea:. I guess the stock Z chip map works best with the stock EBC. Im useing the Z-chip Version 1.0.4 software, My OS is Vista.

Will it be safe to use the MBC with the "stock parts" map ?

I would use manual boost control and one of our tuned maps for 23-24psi in 4th gear for best results. Contact us if you need the map changed.

The ZR1 screen is actually not required. You can get by with the ZT2 with laptop datalogging. We would recommend the 3.5bar map sensor so that the boost can be accurately datalogged.
